On April 18, 2023, one of the great evangelical preachers of our generation passed on to our heavenly home. Dr. Charles Stanley was 90 years old and left behind an amazingly fruitful ministry covering over 68 years. Not only did he serve at First Baptist Church of Atlanta as its pastor for 49 years, he also headed In Touch Ministries, that was viewed and listened to around the world since 1972. When I think about Charles Stanley, the word that comes to mind is "impact." He was a true gentleman, but was still sincere in the pulpit and spoke the truth always in a caring and loving way that brought new hope and life in Christ to thousands in all his years of ministry. This tribute to Dr. Charles Stanley focuses on my personal stories of learning from him from a distance for over 30 years on radio, television, and the internet. It also covers some of his milestones and great contributions to the church as well.

2Days Denarius is a Bible teaching ministry that exists to encourage Christians and support them in their spiritual growth. It also seeks to give the message of the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ to the lost. It's a ministry built on the inerrancy, infallibility, and authority of Scripture as our only rule of faith and practice. That is, it is a truly Evangelical ministry in doctrine. 2DaysD may be reached by email at 2daysdenarius@gmail.com
